DCC Lecture Series: Digital Travel Photography
Photographer John Greengo will be in Duvall March 10th, 7:30 pm at the Duvall Fire Station for a lecture on Digital Travel Photography. This free event is part of the Duvall Lecture Series and is hosted by the Duvall Cultural Commission. John Greengo is a life-long resident of Seattle and, not surprisingly, a typical Northwest outdoor adventure lover. He picked up his first camera at the age of 10, and has since traveled to all seven continents, capturing it with his unique vision.
Starting with a college degree in photography, John then mixed his love of photography with his enthusiasm for travel and adventure. From biking and hiking, to canoeing and kayaking, he has undertaken a variety of journeys that has led him to the far reaches of the planet. Many of those travels came while working with world famous photographer Art Wolfe as his assistant and technical guru. He was the field producer for the TV series “Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe.”
John is currently teaching classes at the Rick Steves’ Travel Center in Edmonds, as well as the Art Wolfe Studio in Seattle. He also hosts a weekly photo class webinar broadcast from the Art Wolfe Studio. The “Digital Travel Photography” class in Duvall will be a uniquely visual photography class. You will be treated to an ensemble of illustrations, animations and great photographs that make learning your camera and the art of photography fun and easy. Great travel photos are only a button press away!
