- CITY OF CARNATION - May 12, 2011 Subject: Notice of Application for File #SSD11- 0001 and SPR11-0001 for construction of two industrial buildings with a total of 6,582 square feet of floor area located at 31208 NE 40th Street in Carnation (PIN 162507-9079) This Notice of Application for the above file was submitted to the City of Carnation by J + S Masonry for an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and Site Development Review to construct two buildings for industrial use on an existing industrial site. The first building will consist of 2,958 square feet and the second building will be an open wall structure consisting of 3,624 square feet. The project is located at 31208 NE 40th Street in Carnation, Washington. The applications for the Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and Site Development Review were filed on May 11, 2011. A Determination of Completeness was issued on May 12, 2011 after payment of fees was received and initial review of the application documents occurred. As part of the review process for this proposal, the following approvals and/or permits will be required: SEPA Threshold Determination (City of Carnation) Floodplain Development Permit (City of Carnation) Building Permit (City of Carnation) As of today’s date these are the only known required approvals/permits. Others may be required after project review and analysis are completed. The Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and Site Development Review Approvals are both Type II Project Permit Type under section 15.09.050 of the Carnation Municipal Code (CMC) and require this notice of application and notice of decision. Appeals of the Shoreline Substantial Development Permit may be made to the State Shorelines Hearings Board in Lacey, Washington. Appeals of the Site Development Review may be made to the Hearing Examiner and would be an Open Record appeal. This application will be reviewed for compliance with the City of Carnation Municipal Code (CMC), the City of Carnation Design and Construction Standards, the City of Carnation Shoreline Management Program and the City of Carnation Comprehensive Plan. Any person has the right to submit written comment on this application and, upon doing so, receive a copy of and appeal the decision made by the City Planner. This notice is issued as of May 12, 2011 and the comment period is thirty (30) calendar days from the date of publication in the newspaper of record, ending on June 20, 2011. All comments must be submitted to Carnation City Hall, 4621 Tolt Avenue, PO Box 1238, Carnation, WA 98014 no later than 4:30 p.m., June 20, 2011; identified by File # of the subject application. This application and all relevant documents are available for inspection at Carnation City Hall, Monday thru Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 to 2:30. 2011-2012 Riverview School District Six-Year Capital
Facilities Plan The Riverview School District No. 407 has completed its Six-Year Capital Facilities Plan for the 2011 school year. Plan documents will be on file at the school district administration office at 32240 NE 50th Street, Carnation, WA, and available for public review beginning Wednesday May 11, 2011. The Board of Directors will meet on May 24, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., a regularly scheduled meeting in the District Board Room at the address above, to conduct a public hearing on and to take action to adopt the Capital Facilities Plan. Any person may appear and be heard for or against the Plan, or any part thereof.
