Police Blotter
DUI Alcohol or Drugs - Oct. 3 - SR 203/NE 24th St. Officer responded to a report of a DUI driver on SR 203. Officer located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. After further investigation, driver was arrested for DUI and booked into King County Jail.
Other Traffic Related Incident - Oct. 4 - 28500 block of NE 153rd St in Duvall. Report of vehicles speeding through residential neighborhood. One witness was able to get a vehicle description and another provided the name of the driver. Officer tracked down driver and met with his mother. Mother assured her son would no longer be driving in that manner.
Welfare Check - Oct. 4 - NE Cherry Valley Rd in Duvall. Officer dispatched to a man down near 3rd and NE Cherry Valley Rd. The R/P was concerned about a subject down on the sidewalk. Officer’s met with a “known” alcohol abuser and asked him if he was ok and he stated he was fine and the subject said he wanted to walk home. The subject walked home.
Animal Problem - Oct. 5 - 27400 block of NE 153rd Pl in Duvall. Male woke up in the morning hours to find a neighbor’s dog was in his yard, chickens were killed. The dog dug out of the chicken pen and the Police followed the dog home. Case will be referred to King County Animal Control.
Theft - Shoplifting - Misd - Oct. 5 - 4300 block of Tolt Ave in Carnation. Officer responded to a shoplift at
Jackson Foods. Employee reported two teenagers had taken items from the store without paying and left on foot. Officer was able to identify the suspects from the security cameras. Theft charges pending.
Warrant Other Misd - Oct. 5 - 26800 block of NE Beadonhall St in Duvall. Officers were called to a citizen assist call. Officers contacted the male subject who arrived at the residence at the same time as Officers. Male subject was arrested for a warrant and a criminal license violation.
Animal Problem - Oct. 6 - 4600 block of Tolt Ave in Carnation. Officer was dispatched to a report of an injured raccoon in a park in Carnation. Officer arrived and viewed the raccoon that was still alive but badly injured. Officer contacted a wildlife rescue who sent someone right away. The raccoon was picked up and transported to their facility for treatment.
Warrant - Other Misd - Oct. 6 - Stillwater Hill/SR 203. Police stopped a vehicle for an infraction. Upon investigation a pot pipe was given to police with a bit of burned marijuana in it. SFST’s were performed and a search was consented to. The driver was later released but the passenger was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
VUSCA Other - Possession - Oct. 7 - Main St & NE Stephens St in Duvall. Officer stopped a speeding vehicle and through investigation discovered the driver had drug contraband.
